PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCE

Parent-Teacher Conferences – October 17th

We are excited to announce that Parent-Teacher Conferences at Snake River Junior High will take place on Thursday, October 17th, from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM.

This is a valuable opportunity for parents and guardians to meet with teachers and discuss their child's academic progress. We believe that strong communication between home and school is key to student success, and we encourage all parents to attend.

During the conferences, you’ll have the chance to:

Review your child’s academic performance.
Discuss their strengths and areas for growth.
Address any concerns you may have about their learning experience.

We look forward to partnering with you to support your child’s success!

The first day of school, district wide, will be Tuesday, August 13th. (Kindergarten first day will be August 21)

First bell: 7:55am

End of Day: 4:05pm

Open house: August 8, 2024: Important Information

A district wide open house will be held Thursday, August 8th from 1pm-7pm .

Come and pay your fees, get your schedule and meet your teachers!

Schedule for New Student Registration and Schedule Changes:

1:00PM-2:00PM: Last names A-C
2:00PM-3:00PM: Last names D-G
3:00PM-4:00PM: Last names H-L
4:00PM-5:00PM: Last names M-P
5:00PM-6:00PM: Last names Q-Z
6:00PM-7:00PM: Make up time for anyone unable to attend during their scheduled slot.

Please attend during your designated time slot to ensure a smooth and efficient process. If you cannot attend your scheduled time, please come during the makeup time slot from 6:00PM-7:00OM. We look forward to welcoming all new students and assisting with any schedule changes.

7th Grade Vaccinations:

We will also be offering vaccinations for students who need them. It is crucial for all seventh-grade students to be up-to-date on their vaccinations, specifically the Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis) booster and Meningococcal vaccine.

Vaccination Details:

Date: August 8th
Time: 1:00PM-7:00PM
Location: Cafeteria
Vaccines Available: Tdap Booster and Meningococcal Vaccine
Requirements: A parent or guardian must be present with a valid picture ID to receive the vaccines.

Please take advantage of this opportunity to ensure your child is protected and in compliance with school health requirements. If your child has already received these vaccines please bring a copy of their updated immunization records.
